James Turrell works his magic
Californian lighting artist, James Turrell took over the whole whole famous atrium at the Guggenheim with this lighting installation. Gradually changing colours and intensity, you weren't quite sure if it was your eyes, magic or something magical. Turrell's work is ethereal, he says he thinks of it as spiritual and lying on the floor looking up at this installation, I would say that's certainly how it felt. Such an amazing experience...
